Halloween weekend- JM

Page history last edited by PBworks 19 years, 5 months ago

Since it is Halloween weekend, probably one of the most exciting weekends, here at Penn State, I thought it would be appropriate to say something somewhat scary. Personally, I am a scaredy cat, and I believe a lot of what I hear. Apparently, Pattee, Schwab Auditorium, and Old Botany are haunted, and that scares the shit out of me. Supposedly, the girl who was murdered in Pattee, Betsy, still haunts it, and people who work there have reported feeling odd presences and things being moved around. Secondly, Schwab is haunted by three friendly spirits. One being President Atherton who is buried right outside the building. Supposedly he messes around with the lights in the girls bathroom, and plays with the curtains on the stage. Old Botany, one of the oldest buildings on campus is located right across from Schwab, is also haunted. Karen Snare, a staff assistant at Old Botany said that she put the key right in the door, and they both flew open (only one of the doors were able to open normally). She and others have heard books hitting the floor. Also, there is an office upstairs that no one uses, but the lights were on the door was open. Finally, in a staff picture taken, there was a man sitting in the window upstairs that no one knew. I think i've freaked myself out enough for one day, so that's my blog.
